Norwegian Control Systems AS (NCS) and Norwegian Electric Systems AS (NES) are a total system integrator of diesel electric and hybrid electric propulsion systems. We also deliver electro design and control systems for fishing, fish farming, offshore wind power production and offshore oil production for shipyards and ship owners in the global marine market.

NCS are located in Ålesund and Egersund, with the main office in Bergen together with NES. We are about 70 highly skilled employees, and the technical disciplines vary from automation engineering to electrical power engineering and cybernetics. We are looking for service engineers who are interested and engaged in the discipline. You will be working with commissioning and service on our diesel electric and hybrid electric systems as well as energy storage systems. In addition, Our Service Department are responsible for installation and commissioning of automation- and navigation systems. In the main office in Bergen, you will be part of a team who are responsible for prepare and complete a FAT together with different class societies and customers, including necessary documentation handling.
The position report to our Service Manager.
We always aim to strengthen our team with dedicated people and we mainly need passionate engineers with the following skills and background:
- Electro/automation technicians with certificate or a bachelor within the same discipline
- Experience from the marine market
- Good verbal and written presentation in English
- Good data knowledge in general
