Major new contract for MMC First Process

MMC First Process has entered into a contract for the delivery of a large fish handling package for a new wellboat. The wellboat was ordered by Alsaker Fjordbruk in Onarheim. Alsaker Fjordbruk is a vertically integrated aquaculture group, and one of the biggest privately owned producers of smolt and marine growers

MORE ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY VESSELS WITH QUEST® HYBRID TECHNOLOGY

Havila Charisma is one of the vessels Norwegian Electric Systems has retrofitted with QUEST® hybrid technology. Havila Charisma has a long term contract with Equinor (previously Statoil) to supply Equinor`s oil platforms with food, water, equipment and fuel. Normally, these supply vessels runs on diesel, but Havila Charisma stands out at this point.

First ferry launched on the Hareid-Sulesund service

Today, Cemre Shipyard in Turkey launched the hull of the first of a total of five Havyard 936 battery ferries that will operate the Hareid-Sulesund and Aursnes-Magerholm services in Sunnmøre. It will now be towed to Norway for fitting out.
