The first Estonian hybrid ferry MV Tõll provides services to passengers on the Virtsu-Kuivastu line. TS Laevad, the operator of ferry transportation between the mainland and the islands, outfitted MV Tõll with battery systems which will from now on allow it to partially run on electricity and contribute to significant decrease in the amount of diesel fuel used as well as air pollution.
